It looks like we have four willing English speakers. I know Vernon prefers not to play in larger games and wulfe is still away on vacation.

What scenario do you prefer?

Mediterraneo? Maybe all of you are tired of it. Do you prefer something bigger? smaller?

Please, select one so I can set up the game.

I like Mediterraneo myself, but I have not played one yet that I did not like.

Fellow Anglophones, should we take on the role of Bonaparte's taxis in the battle of the Med?

Greetings Aaron -

I'd rather be the "English Speaking" British!! Seriously, I really don't care which side or scenario - Do you know how many players on the Argentinian side? Whatever you agree to is fine with me

I think Argentinian players chose the French side because they though you would prefer the English side in any scenario.

Ok how about "Cabo Fintesterre" ? We take the British and the Argentine's get the Spanish and the French.

(I just played the Med scenario as British, so I'd prefer a different one).

Depending on how many Argentinian players we have I would go with Eric's suggestion of Cape Finisterre or alternatively if there are more Argentine players than English speakers then maybe Cape St Vincent.

If Munrox is willing and has time to create new scenarios there's a series of battles fought between the British and French in the Indian ocean in the mid 18th century which I've found make very good tabletop wargames and would translate very easily to Velmad.  Historical background is that between February 1782 and June 1783 the fleets of French captain Pierre Andre de Suffren de St. Tropez and British
Vice-Admiral Sir Edward Hughes fought a series of naval actions along the Indian Coromandel coast. Five actions, all largely inconclusive and fought between fleets that were relatively equal in numbers, were fought at Sadras, Providien, Cuddalore, Negapatam and Trincomalee.  I have more details if needed.

Hi sstok1  ;)

Thank you very much, but i am glad to say that all the 5 scenarios mentioned are yet ready  8) . It is a question of few time to see them in Velmad seas... even i have thought in them as a "pack" very good in order to make a campaign  ;) , the Indic Ocean Campaign   :)

I present them to Munrox some time ago but i finally will put them bit a bit in Scenarios Library, so patience and i hope very soon all of us will be very happy to fight in Indian Seas  :-*

Regards

PD: If you have any idea about some scenario as in this case, please tell me before (by private message if you want) because there are several lines of work in progress about new battles and campaings thank the aid of some players as me among them.  :)

I am guessing there are more Argentines, so St Vincent is probably the one to play. Naturally I don't mind playing as the British.
