collisions / entangled?
« en: Abril 30, 2008, 03:21:41 pm »
How do I get out of an entanglement due to friendly collision?  Does it just take time (and fatigue?)

thanks

you can turn without moving, that won't give you extra fatigue.

Once you have nothing in front of you, you can change your speed, this willl charge you with 20% fatigue.

If you move and collide again you lose another 40% fatigue.

It is way easier to start moving going forward than trying to turn and move, because when you turn you often collide at first position.

You can also wait the ship at the front move ahead first. Then move your ship after it and down fatigue while in the next turn. In the meantime it is possible turn stopped in order to point the best direction to move without risk of have a new collision (with another 100 damage points and 40%'s additional fatigue). The domestic "rule" teach us that the ship collided behind mustn't move until the other has gone out.

My advice is to be pacient because when it happens, you can't do anything but try to get out the better as possible in that situation.

If the collision is at full sail the ship with this configuration suffers a penalty of 60%'s fatigue.
